Grifon Intelligence Concept – GIC
GIC platforms must collect and interpret data from several sources for timely, accurate and informed decision-making when responding to threats in a certain area of responsibility.
The GIC platforms are the ideal mobile Intelligence for military and law enforcement. Designed for rapid response it is highly independent, self-protected and ultra-mobile, easily integrated into larger C4ISR systems.

Vehicular platforms
For military missions a High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle can be used. The vehicular platform is a light, highly mobile, four-wheel-drive vehicle. The same vehicular platform can be configured to become one of the GIC platforms with minimum modifications. It is lightweight, high performance, air transportable & droppable, and land mobility system. The proposed vehicular platform is URO S3. Depending on requirements the vehicular platform can be armored.
For law enforcement a commercial four-wheel-drive vehicle can be used. The same vehicular platform can be configured to become one of the GIC platforms with minimum modifications.  The proposed vehicular platform is Mitsubishi L200. Depending on requirements the vehicular platform can be armored.

Communications Subsystems
The GIC’s communications systems seamlessly integrate the Harris tactical radio network with different type of sensors. Data from the sen¬sor field, UAV, UGV, dismounted soldiers, unattended ground sensors are received by the Harris Falcon II radios, which provide secure communica¬tions between the Mobile Command and Control Vehicle and Headquarters.
Data and voice can be routed over the high capacity RF-7800W Broadband Ethernet Radio for high speed communications to Headquarters. On the move communications can be achieved using BGAN option of the RF-7800B for military applications or using VSAT for law enforcement applications.

Command and Control
BC2A Cinetic® is a command and control application empowering leaders and commanders with the tools required to support the decisions and manage the battle on the move as the action unfolds:
•Common Operational Picture
•Reports, Requests, Alerts, Plans and Orders
•Tactical Chat
•GIS and MAP analysis

BC2A Cinetic® provides a Common Operational Picture (COP) that is displayed in MC3. Imagery, ground surveillance radar data, sensor data, and friendly force GPS data is correlated and displayed on the COP. The data from MC3 can be forwarded to a headquarters for processing providing the real time information for the decision makers to take the proper course of action.
Sensors Subsystems
The system is designed to easily connect to sensors with a standard inter¬face, allowing custom sensors to be chosen for specific operations. In its standard configuration, the GIC provides day and night video and ground radar, and receives information from unattended ground sensors.
