The Grifon Intelligent Concept (GIC) is an advanced concept to put together research, industry, management and business communities, including Romanian Government to create a dedicated mobile platform, firs of all, to security field of activity and civil use. In this concept security algorithm means: surveillance, observation, reconnaissance, information gathering or acquisition, target recognition, information distribution, protection, intervention, countermeasures / attack and protection, efficiency and operational risks reduction for security forces in a new global environmental context and threats.

The presentation of technological demonstrator (TD) of GIC is a major event for different planners, users, providers and paymasters, researchers, designers and manufacturers to meet and exchange visionary ideas on similar systems and concepts.

GIC wants to underline and prove the necessity and possibility for integration, in country, of different existing subsystem and to demonstrate, technologically, the benefit of a different approach to the critical infrastructure protection challenges. GIC offers a mobile intervention platform for no conventional combat type operations, including dangerous operations. Capturing early information on opponents’ activities and positions the GIC platform get a clear tactical advantage, whether day or night and in nearly all weather conditions.
